We’ve been collecting stories from our clients (with permission, of course) for a while to help our community out there get a better sense of who we serve and a little bit about what we do. Throughout Leona’s time in the Employment Program, she has always been ready to hand out resumes and learn new skills. Her hard work has paid off. Leona has been employed as a Cleaner at Lifestyle Select for almost 8 months.

Congratulations to Trevor who has recently been offered a position at Oak Bay Bikes. Trevor has also been a very dedicated employee working at Searles Auto Repair for over a year!
Welcome to the Rise-up Youth Employment Project!
Isaac (above) is participating in the new Rise-up Youth Employment Project. He has been diving into work experiences at two different locations; Bead Town and Epic Games.
Matt Varley (Owner of Coastline Metal Works) and Braedon on right
Braedon is also a part of the Rise-up Youth Project. He is currently carrying out work experience with Coastline Metal Works in Langford. Braedon assists the owner Matt with tasks such as tool maintenance, metal cuts and calculations, painting, and some welding.
… and a big thanks to Dayna, Kelly, Lois and all the other good Phoenix folks who together with some incredibly supportive employers have helped to find jobs for our clients with diversabilities!!
