Get Involved

At Phoenix, we consider ourselves to be an integral part of the communities we serve. In order to be an effective community asset, we need to effectively engage with our communities. That's where 'getting involved' comes in. These suggestions below are just a few of the ways in which you can engage with us and us with you. 

Employment- That's pretty straightforward. Come work with us. We've got about 80 employees working across many specialties. It's a great place to learn and even greater place to make a difference in people's lives.

Events- We've added an events calendar to draw attention to important happenings at Phoenix and around the community. Know of something that you would like to promote, give us a call. We may be able to feature it in our calendar.

What's New- Another way to find out what's happening at Phoneix is to check out our news items. Maybe there is something that you want to get invloved in.

Story Bank- Want to learn a bit more about the people we serve? Check out their stories.

Membership- Have a look at our mission, vision and values. Do they resonate with you? How about our services? Do they speak to you and/or your interests and passions. If you want to get involved directly with Phoenix one way is to become a member. Contact us if you are considering membership and we can have a chat and explain what that would involve.

Newsletter- Phoenix Rising was created back in 2009. It gives you a good glimpse into the organization's life at a moment in time. The issues tend to be very informative. We aspire to get them out to the public about 4 times a year. We are a little behind lately but what is there is certainly worth a read.

Employers Only- We created this link for employers who are interested in employing persons with disabilities. We know that there are many out there and some of you are already part of the network of employers that have worked with us to employ our clients. Please have a look and consider what a difference you can make in the lives of people with barriers to inclusion and full citizenship.
